Signature Artist is an earned designation at Arts Center East. These artists produce high-caliber, award-winning, and consistently professional work. They’ve mastered their craft and earned the industry accolades to prove it.

Signature artists receive all the benefits of artist members, in addition to free submission to the Annual Signature Artist Membership exhibition.

Artists may be considered for Signature membership at any time based on several criteria:

1. ACE artist membership for at least one year

2. Acceptance into multiple juried exhibitions

3. Awards/recognitions received

4. Ongoing, active membership in artist organizations

5. A portfolio that demonstrates a consistently high skill level.

Do you want to be considered for Signature membership? Apply any time by sending an email to Info@ArtsCenterEast.org. Your message must include:

• Five high-quality jpg images

• Resume that includes a list of acceptances into juried shows, awards, artist memberships, and affiliations

• Artist’s website may be included as supporting material

• Name, mailing address, email, phone number

There is an application fee of $25 to be considered for Signature Artist membership. You can pay online through the link below or mail or drop off a check for $25 made out to Arts Center East and note “Signature Artist Member Application Fee” on the memo line. This application fee is non-refundable.

Alternatively, ACE artist members who have maintained their membership for at least one year, and have won awards in three ACE juried exhibitions, may apply. No application fee is required in this case.

A panel of jurors will review your resume and images (considering composition, design/creativity/originality, technical ability, use of the medium). You will be notified within one month of submission of your application status.
