It’s Bingo Night at Arts Center East! Come for the fun and leave with a designer purse!

Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own snacks (alcohol not permitted). We’ll play 10 games of bingo (one card per person), and each winner will win a designer purse.

Poetry Rocks! is a quarterly poetry reading series organized by ACE Staff and Vernon Poet Laureate, Pegi Deitz Shea. It is co-sponsored by Arts Center East, The Rockville Public Library, and The CT Council of Poets Laureate. In 2017, the then ACE Director, Joan Sonnanburg, approached Pegi about beginning a poetry reading series that would feature Rockville High School’s award-winning poets, early-career poets, and established Connecticut poets. Upcoming readings will be held in the afternoon on Sunday, September 27, 2026, and December 6, 2026, at Arts Center East.

On September 27, Faith Vicinanza of Southbury, Rick Magee of Bethel, and Elaine Nadal of Milford will share their wide variety of poetry, along with Rockville High School’s Mia Resto, Sunday, Sept. 27, 3:00-5:00pm.
