From bold, expressive compositions to subtle, thought-provoking works, this exhibit celebrates creativity, imagination, and the many ways abstract art evokes emotion and inspires personal interpretation.

Small Works, Big Joy

Arts Center East invites artists to submit work for our upcoming exhibition, Small Works, Big Joy. This curated show celebrates the power of small-format art, highlighting the craftsmanship, creativity, and precision that flourish within limited dimensions. This exhibit will be open during our popular Annual Holiday Artisan Fair through December 19. All works must be 12X12 or smaller. Open to all media, including ceramics, sculpture, fiber, painting, photography, mixed media, metal, and more.

Submission Deadline: October 16, 2026
Notification: By October 30, 2026
Drop-Off: November 6 & 7, 1-4 pm
Pick-Up: December 19, 4-5 pm & December 21, 1-4 pm

Juried Exhibit Policies

  • Juried exhibits are open to artists 18 years of age and older.

  • Each artist may submit up to five (5) pieces.

  • All artwork must NOT have been included in previous ACE juried exhibits.

  • All artwork must be original (no kits, no AI-generated art).

  • Artwork cannot be done under instruction in a class, workshop, or lesson.

  • There is a non-refundable entry fee for submissions: $35/$30 for ACE Members for one piece, $40/$35 for ACE Members for two pieces, $45/40 for ACE Members for three pieces, etc., up to 5 pieces.

  • Upon acceptance, please attach this form to the back of your piece.

All wall-hung work must be properly wired with two loops and professional picture wire. Saw tooth hangers, photo frames with triangular tabs, tape, string, monofilament, other types of wire, or any other materials are not acceptable and will be refused, regardless of advance notification of acceptance. Artwork must be delivered completed and ready to be displayed.

Arts Center East receives a 35% commission on sales for non-Artist Members, and a 25% commission on sales for ACE Artist Members, effective July 1, 2025.
