My primary medium is wood. I make cutting boards and home decor from exotic and domestic hardwoods. Examples are Serving Trays, Cheese Slicers, Cribbage Boards, Wine caddies.

The process I use is lamination where I cut different species of wood into desired width and length. I then arrange into a desired pattern and glue them together and place them in clamps to dry overnight. Once dry I cut them to a shape and sand them smooth and apply a finish.

I like to mix and match the species of wood by the color and grain of the wood. And with doing the laminating process the possibilities are endless.
