I am a tactile artist and longarm quilter who loves stitching and creating. The challenge to create in fiber by adding anything I can find to enhance the final piece – beads, paint, roving, thread, paper, metal, recycled items, etc., for me, is the joy in rediscovering again and again the creation of art from bits and pieces. I look for balance in movement, design, and color across my pieces, even dyeing and painting my own fabrics to achieve the desired result.

I have been fortunate, an award-winning quilter and fiber artist with items in: shows nationally and abroad, juried touring exhibits, included in books for both my quilting and art, a solo exhibit, and in private collections. I currently lecture, teach workshops, provides long arm quilting services, and vend hand dyed and painted fabrics and clothes at shows.

My art is a reflection of my personal journey through subject, technique and media. I enjoy exploring unusual techniques and pushing boundaries.
